The pay range is $10 to $13 per hour. Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or GED, able to read and write English language, and to perform basic mathematics calculations. Candidates with municipal maintenance, or utility operation experience are desired. This position will have duty assignments in Streets, Parks, and Cemetery divisions. This position is a temporary position and the appointment will end by September 30, 2016. There is no employee benefit. Both meetings are held at City Hall Council Chambers, 205 E Third Street, Wapato, WA. City Council meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 pm.Council Work Sessions are informal and informational. They are just before City Council meetings starting as early as 6:00 pm.
