Wapato City Planning Commission

The Wapato Planning Commission was created with seven members and revised to five members in October of 2002 due to the lack of quorum in the meeting.  They meet once a month, every second Tuesday at 6:30 pm at City Hall.

The Planning Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council and the Mayor and is a fact finding body of the city.  One of the main duties of the Planning Commission is to study, develop and make recommendations for updates to the City’s Comprehensive Plan.  All Class 2 reviews come before the Planning Commission and advise City Council on their decision based on their findings.
